New Beginning 16: All for One and One for All

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

The moss is intercepted by dragonfire being controoled by Kazehana who then burns it to a crisp. Kazehana asks, "Kuroko, as I recall you can do some umbrakinesis, right?"

Kuroko replies, "Yeah, why?"

Kazehana says, "I'm gonna use some shadowflames."

Kuroko grins, "Heh, let's make that thing explode."

In between Kuroko and 'Plants' appears a path of shadows. Simultaneously, Kazehana creates a shadowflame which is then sent down the path to 'Plants.'

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The nanocytes are invulnerable and immutable, thus the nanocytes explode, but remain unfazed. They stop eating only to form into a shield for Techne against the five blasts.

The portal sucks in the energy, as I am favored by Helios. In return, I send an energy at the Celadon Guardian...imbued with Divine Immunity.

[Philote]

@Dryad: "Plants" surrounds herself in a cocoon of vines, but these are quickly burned away by the incoming vines. However, she is not inside anymore. She reappears behind Kuroko, ready with one of her stronger attacks. "Earth Seed." A glowing seed in the shape of a planet that she fires from the plant on her back. The seed has the power to turn things organic, and to fuse those organic pieces with themselves and the surroundings.

@Wulf: (Oh, right )
A section of Morphs metallic skin separates from his back, flying high up and growing into a satellite. The satellite begins firing down beams into the nanocyte cloud, locking the nanocytes the beam hits into cages. Morph himself mechanizes his arm, turning it into a space distortion cannon.

The Guardian blocks the blast with his marble skin, and then vanishes as he takes on the Helm of Hades. A trident strikes the ground near the portal, causing an ocean torrent to wrap around it, before vanishing again.

The attack appears to hit Kuroko, but then the image wavers and disappears as Kuroko appears behind 'Plants'. Kuroko chuckles, "That was a good trick, but have you ever heard of after-images? I can make those as can a good number of other students here."

Kuroko and Kazehana blast 'Plants' with multiple attacks of fire, ice, lightning, wind, water, and earth combined together with fusion magic.

[Philote]

She flies away from the assault, but doesn't escape all the blasts. As she begins regenerating, she opens up the flower on her back, another "Earth Seed" inside.

This time, instead of firing it off in one blast, she scatters it off like leaves, directing a portion at every section of the current field.

Kuroko and Kazehana chase after 'Plants' firing off even more blasts as Regenerating Flame steps out onto the field and yells, "Continue to fight your opponent I'll take care of these! Release, Phoenix of the Inferno!"

Regenerating Flame's Soulsword (currently a baby phoenix) grows into a full-fledged mature phoenix and burns to ashes every single bit of 'Earth Seed.'


(The students aren't going to let you destroy the land around their school if they have anything to do about it.)

(Eh, fine, what about the ones heading directly for her opponents?)

(There's several blasts of fusion magic coming from Kuroko and Kazehana. More than enough to take care of those. They fired off at least 50 apiece.)

[Philote]

"Plants" shifts into her aspect form, becoming more spectral than physical. She senses the Earth mixed in with the incoming blasts, and sends out vines to embed into the energy, taking it over. Since the magic is fused together, the vines infect the others elements as well and convert their energy into her own, and turns it back on the casters.

In between 'Plants' and the two students appears a wall of flames. Kuroko cries out, "Mina-onee-san!"

Behind 'Plants' a feminine voice says, "Ohayo, Imouto-chan!"

As everyone looks to see who it is, more flames ignite and surround Yamata Mina and 'Plants.' (Mina appears to be an older version of Kuroko by the way) Mina looks at her opponent and grins, "So glad you decided to attack the Mars Combat Academy. One of the first things that happens when it's attacked is a call is sent out to all nations that have students within it. I am Yamata Mina, the previous Student Rank Number One of Mars Combat Academy. I am now the Titled 'Fist of Unforgiving Flame' of the Draconic Empire. Ready?"

Dragonflame erupts around Mina as a katana appears in her hand. Mina cries, "Come at me, weakling!"

Kuroko and Kazehana return to the other students. Kuroko complains, "Aaaaaaah, Onee-chan had to come and interrupt my fight!"

A teacher replies, "If you didn't want your fight interrupted then you should have finished earlier."

Kuroko punches the teacher and turns around saying, "Now all we can do is wait."


(Yes, Kuroko can punch a teacher and not get punished. All of the Top Ten can do that.)

[Philote]

Finding a suitably strong target, "Plants" sacrifices her life. Having her life force fuel her power further, she uses her new power to seal the power of the newcomer. Her body unwinds into vines infused with her essence that begin to circle around Yamata Mina and the flames.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Mina watches as the vines start to circle around her and chuckles, "Consume, Inferno."

Her Soulsword transforms from a katana into 5 pillars of eternal flame and a pair of brass knuckles. She raises the temperature of the brass knuckles to equal that of a sun's and punches with all her might as well as all of the flames blasting outwards.


(Please note that the flames can hurt both spiritually and physically and while her Soulsword is in its Released State, Mina is immune to harm from heat and fire.)

[Philote]

The life force of "Plants" clashes against the life force present within Yamata Mina's flames, draining more energy than she expected to use for her attack. The vines continue to drain energy, but are eventually consumed by the flames.

Mina continues on with her attack grinning at the exertion of force she's having to make.

[Philote]

("Plants" is done now, she sacrificed herself to do her last draining attack)

(Ok, well then ignore the last post)


Mina bursts out of the cage of flames as it collapses inward and burns the body of 'Plants' to ashes. Mina walks over to the students and says, "The rest of the army is coming. I was just the scout. They shouldn't need to do anything but it's always good to make sure."

[Philote]

(Do you want to continue with another match until the others get back?)

The next member of my army heads for one of the students from the top ten, this time it is the Guardian from Bleach that flies down to face him. A man dressed in black and white with his skeleton showing through his skin.

(So then Number 7 since Singing Water is Number 8)


As the guardian approaches, Lightning Troll says, "I'll take this guy."

Lightning Troll walks forward and stands upright waiting for his opponent.
