Nervous system not neural system. If you want I could up it a bit using a small time warp device so you could sense pain before it happened averting the damage from happening in the first place...sort of a spidey sense if you will.

That's a conundrum...you can't sense pain ahead of time and avoid it because then there would be no pain to sense in the first place.
