A long time ago, before the creation of the first worlds the creator of existence became bored as he often did and decided to create another being. That being would be a creature of pure irony and chaos with complete control over the aspects of reality. That being was called the jester. He made the creator laugh more than any of his other creations, until one day he suddenly dissapeared. The creator looked across all of existence, but brecause of the Jester's nature he was the only thing in all of creation that he could not find. Believing he had left the creator replaced him with three new jesters, but in reality he was trapped in a hole between dimensions by another one of the creator's creations that had seen his power as a threat in his plot to overthrow the creator. As he stewed in the space between dimensions unable to move and only able to view what happened in the worlds him his soul gave way to the emotions of anger and sorrow. Recently he escaped through his own power and joined with another being that works as a moderator for his powers as well as a source of interest for him. Together they go through the dimensions cleaning up disrepencies caused by the betrayers and causing general chaos by the will of the creator.
It had been a while since I last got a vacation from my current job. Well not really a vacation but at least it might be interesting. I was traveling through the dimensions when he asked if I wanted to participate in a little game that was being orchestrated. I would be an envoy along with a few others on a new planet he was making. Basically he was giving me free rane to do whatever I wanted. I could'nt refuse. I was spit out of a rip in space time and rolled head over heels a couple of feet before stopping in the middle of a wide valley ringed in mountains. I looked at the sky for a few seconds enjoying the view but then the familiar pressure built up. Everything around me turned black and my vision spread across the globe in three directions. "I guess I'm a little late to the party this time." In the first direction stood a being of pure vanity that gave me a sick feeling in my stomach. In the second direction was a powerful being that gave off an sleepy aura mixed with a slight annoyance with the world in general, it reminded me a bit of my own. The third was covered in darkness, I could feel a deep insanity and hatred of life. As soon as I felt the third being the Jester's blood lust stirred and the familiar feeling of insanity surrounded me. I exploded in a burst of destruction and creation energy which created a maelstrum of chaos. When I came to everthing in around me had been reduced to a barren wasteland. "Uh oh, I need to be more carefull of that in the future" I focussed for a second and a large weeping willow appeared beside me. The ground around it began to turn into a lush green as grass began to grow again and the base of the tree began to crawl with small yellow horned creatures dripping with energy. "Watch after this place while I'm gone okay, I need you guys to keep it safe." With that I lifted off of the ground and began to drift towards the nearest life forms I could find. "Well Jester I guess it's time for us too have some fun." "Correct..." the small green dot in the center is the weeping willow it'll take it a few days to fix tbe gray area I've destroyed. The ocean should cooll of soon and I'll fix the moat of fire when I get around to it. Tell me if there's anythig I forgot or have gotten wrong. I might post again soon I need to play some catch up.

So apparently I can’t cause any mischief yet apparently it’s a bit to early to actually do anything. The creator stopped me before I approached the first city and told me that It was to early to interfere with anything quite yet, and that I needed to build a base for the inevitable.
So I drifted into the center of the four islands that I had appeared in and took a second to see how my tree was doing. A lush forest had begun to form in the center of the island while my creatures had advanced a bit. They were covering small island and had built homes out of rock that they had carved out of the ground. They had absorbed a bit of ambient energy since I had last seen them and had grown to about the size of toddlers horned sharp toothed toddlers with the strength of a fully grown man but toddlers nonetheless . I took a second to smile at there progress before I warped into the center of the islands. I closed my eyes and concentrated. The plates of earth beneath the earth shattered and rushed towards the surface of the ocean. And crowned to form a vast chain that connected the four islands together. This next part required a bit more effort. I warped to the bottom of the ocean and thrust my right hand into the ground. I started to create a dark grey type of diamond. I sent a large spire deep and made it branch off into roots for support. Then I made it grow upwards until it broke through the water’s surface and formed a spire a couple hundred feet up. At the top I formed a castle, similar to the stereotypical black forteress with several spires and twisted colums. I walked inside and sat on a throne in the center of a large hallway. I looked out at the ocean when an idea occurred. I concentrated and then separated the salt in the ocean from the water, and solidified it above the ocean. Forming a jagged ring of salt around the spire that stretched for a few miles. That would make it a little easier for my creations to get around. I concentrated and blank faced golems sprouted out of the walls and floor of the hall, and I also summoned four of my creatures from the island. I let my power permeate through the room for an instant creating a field of energy within it. Immediately the creatures began to absorb it and grow. In a few hours they will get to the point where they will develop there own powers and personalities, but I didn’t have time to watch. I warped back to my weeping willow and placed my hand upon it giving it new instructions. The tree began to glow and it’s roots extended past the first island along the chain that connected them together, and spread to all four islands. While I was making the tree grow I noticed something odd. On an island a little to the north east of this one there were a couple of humans populating it. “Hah,” I exclaimed, “Finally something a bit interesting.” I warped to the outskirts of their settlement and sat down outside of the nearest building and began to rest. Before I fell a sleep I heard a group talking about some odd occurrences that had been happening. Apparently a previously barren island had exploded a few days ago in a sphere of light, but today it was covered in a forest of willow trees, and apparently the ocean in between the islands were now covered in a thick layer of salt with a mysterious spire of darkness sprouting out of it’s center. At the top of it was apparently a sinister structure occupied by some sort of demonic king that they had thought up. I guess that I started off too strong. It’ll take a while to get rid of that reputation again. Perhaps I could take some time to help them with their problems. With that thought in mind fell asleep sitting in the center of their town going completely unnoticed. The light grey area is the sea of salt, the dark grey circle in the center is the diamond spire. The lines arking across the islands are the trees roots.

A) Please format it so it's not a block of text. B) Even though we are free reign, don't you think your character should be a little tired after doing so much? =====

Usually after my character exhausts a large amount of energy like that he falls into a coma for a few days to allow his energy to build back up without drawing on reserves.
EverBlade@- I was a little confused about the motes because you added this not at the bottom of your last post: "@zale: You know the bird you suggested a few days ago? well I'm still working on it. I really liked the idea but I just didn't had the 'stuff' i needed. So? how many motes will this cost me??"

The images entertaining Uburra-Namall vanished in an instant, and she opened her eyes. Paradoxically enough, a call of glee could be heard through the void of space.
"I've got it!" Uburra-Namall smiled to herself, "I knew that all I needed to clear my head was a nice nap." She sprawled her figure, and headed back through the void of the Cosmos to face her nemesis, the world... Looking down, it seemed that there could be no more curvaceous being than that wretched world. Being a sphere, that just couldn't be done. And the colors that decorated her were so vibrant and lucid. It sickened Uburra-Namall to her stomach to see someone who was so stoic and silent, and yet so beautiful. It seemed so standoffish of the World that she held her tongue, even a bit rude. "Well, you foul, loathesome thing," the Goddess mused to herself, "I have just the plan for you. I will populate your surface with little armies of ME! And they will live together in groups, so that they can get together and make MORE of them. And they will have features like mine, to remind you everyday that you can't escape how much lovelier than you I am! And better yet, they will worship ME! HA! What do you think of THAT, stupid WORLD?" The stuck-up world, despite the petty goddess's taunts, remained profoundly mute and emotionless, deciding instead to revolve in silence. This made Uburra-Namall even more angry. "In fact, I shall begin to set aside places for them IMMEDIATELY! You just continue your frivolous little dance around the Sun, twirling idiotically, like some sort of mindless ninny! Pay me no mind, silly world!" And with that, the goddess zoomed down to earth with amazing speed, hoping to finish her little parcel of the world before she felt sleepy again.

@Jester: we're trying to keep it in 3rd person omniscient, if you don't mind...I don't think it'd make too much of a difference, but, you know...

I awoke to the sound of fighting. I looked across the street and saw two kids torturing a young girl holding a small stuffed toy. I always hated bullies. I manifested a demonic head wrapped in flames in front of the two kids, and they ran away screaming. I phased out of existence just enough to cause any light around me to pass through my body without any resistance and warped behind the girl. I dropped a small stone into the pocket of her dress before warping back to my castle to see how my creatures were doing. It took me a second to find them, they were lounging in one of the living spaces of the castle.
One had taken the form of a pubescent girl with two black braids down her shoulders dressed in a loose fitting martial artists smock of varying bright and was sitting upside down in a char playing with a sort of bird that looked like a small pigeon while she kicked her legs nonchalantly in the air. Because of the pigeon I reminded myself to form a better barrier around the castle. There was another one that had taken the shape of a woman in her early twenties with her hair coiled into a tight bun on top of her head with two pins carved from obsidian holding it in place. She wearing a darkly patterned robe. She was leaning back in one of the couches with her feet propped up on a table in front of it. She was picking at her teath with her right hand and examining the other one while holding it a few feet away from her face. A third was leaning against the wall and had taken on the form of a boy in his late teens with long straight black hair. He was dressed in a dark blue riding suit He had both of his arms crossed and had both of his eyes closed in a look of concentration.. Aside from yellow skin, black claws, a small spiked tail, bat-like wings, and four small horns displayed across their foreheads the first three looked human. The fourth was an obvious exception. He looked like a large gargoyle with broad shoulders and a round small head compared to the rest of his body. He was scribbling an equation on the side of the wall that loosely resembled the one used to give an object light speed travel, but he had made a few mistakes with the decimals at the beginning. At looked over them content with their transformations and phased back into existence in the opening of the door way. All of them immediately stopped what they were doing and simultaneously looked towards the doorway. In an instant they recognized me and righted themselves standing at attention. “Greetings master” They all said in broken unison bowing their heads. “Hey guys, so who are you,” When I said this they all looked up slightly confuse. The elder girl spoke saying, “ But master we are your creations do you mean that you do not…” “No, Of course not,” I said before she could finish. “ I was referring to what you call each other. You know, your names that you have decided for yourselves.. They were still slightly confused, “It’s alright if you haven’t decided yet. Anyway, I have decided what your first job is going to be.” I materialized four large bags in front of them that were filled with stones. The younger girl picked one out of the bag and started biting it, “what are these things?” She asked. “Don’t eat that.” I opened my palm and the stone flew out of her mouth and landed in the center of my hand. I expanded it to the size of a grapefruit so they could get a better view and said, “These stones have the power to grant anyone any wish. I need you to distribute these among the populace of this planet, you will each go in groups of two. Use your better judgment in deciding whether or not do distribute your stones to anything. And by the way, Stay away from any dense areas of power you detect the beings emitting them aren’t supposed to be interacted with yet. If you get in trouble call me immediately. Good luck.” With that I phased out of existence and reappeared on top of the castle. I concentrated for a few seconds and created a little box . I touched it and immediately an invisible barrier spread out from it creating a cube around my castle, now nothing with a soul or spiritual power could get in without my permission, and that included thoughts and emotions as well. I leaned back against the roof of the castle and fell asleep staring at the sky. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… “So who’s going with who?” The elder girl said returning to her sloppy posture as soon as I had disappeared. “I’ve got monsty” The younger girl said quickly grabbing the gargoyle like creature by the arm and flying out of the nearest window, easily pulling his weight behind her. “I guess that that leaves you and me dark stuff.” The older girl said indicating the boy who was already facing the door. “Fine let’s get going already we don’t want to fall behind the other team.” With that he hefted the bag over his shoulder and leaped out of the window. “That kid really needs to lighten up some.” She said before grabbing her bag and running after him. Forgeting that they were the same age. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Meanwhile back at the village a little girl was sitting alone in a small house on the outskirts of town. Her parents had died a few years before when their village had had to move because of a sudden outcropping of mountains that had appeared and destroyed their previous village. She had been making a living off of the sewing that her mother had taught her, and the generosity of the other villagers, but lately she had been the object of torment for the other children. The walls of her house were lined with an assortment of handmade toys. She was currently fixing a rip in her favorite one. A little bear with a humanoid body structure and eyes made out of black pebbles. After fixing it she leaned the bear against the side of the wall and nut her sewing needle and thread back into her pocket. When she did this she felt a hard shape and pulled it out of her pocket and examined it. It was a small gray and black rock about the size of her palm. She thought that it looked pretty and laid it beside the bear. While doing this she wished that her dolls could become her real friends. A few seconds later there was a loud bang and shouting coming from outside of the house. She opened the door and saw all of the town’s children outside with torches and clubs. They dragged her outside calling her a witch. They were lead by the two that had been torturing her earlier that day. They threw their torches onto the top of her home and it caught fire. They then started to encircle her. From the inside the house the bear was leaned against the wall and had the perfect vantage point to see the entire scene, and as the fires enclosed around the shelves that housed the dolls the stone began to glow. Outside the town’s children had begun to close in when suddenly the walls of her home burst outward and the townspeople were beset upon by an army of humanoid creatures. They ran away in fear leaving behind the girl. She was crying curled up in a small ball when an eight foot behemoth walked in front of her and knelt down. It wiped her face and she looked up at it recognizing it as the bear. The girl and her army of monsters escaped into the forest that day and started building their own town. Soon they would need to expand their territory and increase their numbers, but not yet.

@Jester: um...in reference to the story?

Like Zalermancer said, it is not a good idea to have humans running around while there are mountains and forests sprouting up out of no where.

Didn't you see it? I added another section, to let you know that her encounter with the humans was just a dream that gave her the idea to make humans...

So that is what that was. I thought that she had retreated back into space, and had decided to make an army of beautiful beings that would make the earth jealous, and even if that wasn' the case I arrived a bit later than you and if the humans didn't come from your area they could have spread out from the ones created by Zalermancer's sphinx in the time it took me to arrive on the scene.
If you want I could tweak my story line a bit so it doesn't mention that, but it's kind of a key point

“Are you sure that we are going in the correct direction’ The gargoyle like minion asked as the two of them flew over a seemingly endless expanse of ocean.
“Nope, just enjoy the ride monster boy.” The young girl said. “But we have been flying for the last several hours and have not yet set our eyes upon any land.” “Go with the flow, we’ll get somewhere eventually. “ “Yes but we have a mission to accomplish, we need to find an area with people.” As he said this a small blip of land came into view several miles away.. “See I told you that I’d get us somewhere eventually.” she said twirling around him, “now come on let’s see if we can find anyone.” After she said this she sped off at a few hundred miles an hour and flew off towards the continent, quickly followed by the gargoyle. They flew over a landscape of rolling hills and lush green forests until they came to a mountain range, and stopped. Off in the distance the girl had heard an odd sound. “What’s that.” She asked stopping suddenly in mid flight a few miles away from the mountains. “I’m not sure.” the gargoyle said, “it sounds a bit like a panicked animal.” “Lets go check it out.” The girl said with an edge of excitement in her voice, before speeding off towards the mountains. They landed in a small cluster of trees that were sitting inside of a hidden valley within the mountains. The sound was coming from a small house built in the center of the valley, and was apparently being emitted by a small old man who was playing a bizarre looking instrument that seemed to be a mix between the bagpipes and an accordion. The sound produced was akin to a monkey strangling a cat while scratching it’s fingers across a chalkboard. “What is that man doing to that instrument!?” The gargoyle whispered from their hiding place in the trees. “I don’t know, but I like it.” The girl said nodding her head to some obscure melody that was being produced. Suddenly her eyes lit up. “I know, let’s give one of them to him.” “Wait, we need to make sure that he qualifies for it” “Come on, he seems like a nice enough guy.” Without listening to anything else she ran out from the trees and towards the small house, reluctantly being followed by the gargoyle. “Hello mister, what are you playing.” The girl said walking up to the old man until he was only a few inches away. “Why hello young lady.” The old man said looking in her direction and putting down his instrument. Upon closer inspection he had bandages covering his eyes, he was blind which would explain why he did not freak out at their appearance. “Why this is a machine of my own design. I love the sound it makes. “Cool” the girl said, “I wish I could build something like that, so how does it work” “Here I’ll show you.” The old man picked up the instrument again and pulled it’s two ends apart. He folded it back together with his hands held over several holes and he began two play I again. Once again it began producing the terrible noise. After a few seconds the gargoyle couldn’t take it anymore and yelled. “Please enough!!!!” while holding his ears in a mixture of pain and discomfort. The old man sighed and put the instrument of torture back down. “I don’t blame you young man. The other’s of my town hated it as well. To the point that they chased me out when I refused to stop playing. I’ve been living out here ever since. “That’s a shame.” The girl said looking upset. “I know, I just wish that I could have spread my music before I had gotten too old to travel.” “Okay, I’ll give you this then.” The girl reached into the sack that she had tied to her waste and pulled out a small multicolored stone. She dropped it into the old mans hand and said, “This rock was given to me by my master, It can grant any wish that you want, all you have to do is say it.” “Thanks for the offer young mam.” The man said smiling, “I’ll cherish it.” “Great, See you later mister” The girl said before taking a small running start and flying off, being followed by the gargoyle. “Nice lass,” The man said, “It’s a shame that she still believes in fairytales like that.” Later that night the old man was sitting in front of his house in an old chair. His instrument was sitting on his lap and he was staring out into the sky with his blind eyes. “I really do wish that I could have spread my music to the world, or at least had someone to listen to it one last time. I guess that at least part of my wish came true.” With that the old man closed his eyes for the last time, not noticing the stone in his hand had begun to glow. The old man’s body shimmered before dissolving into a mist and spreading across the valley. Immediately afterward the horrible music began to play again, but this time it was accompanied by an off tune yodel as well. The music quickly began to build in volume until it seemed like the very air was producing the sound. It spread across the entire continent, and into the centers of towns causing mass chaos. It even spread to a quiet dark place in the forest where a large hawk was sleeping. The other two were flying in the correct direction, but had had worse luck. So far they had found no who they could honestly say was worthy to give the stone two. They had all either been greedy, vain, or just plain evil. They were currently in a small desert town located on the southern continent. The two had disguised themselves as humans with their powers after the first people they had tried to give the stone to had run off screaming in terror. “Come on we have to give the stones to someone.” The boy said. He was leaning against the wall of one of the buildings, with an annoyed look painted across his face. “I know, but we haven’t found anyone yet.” The older girl said looking into a wishing well. “What about that king, that we found.” The boy said. “Too bossy, and greedy, he was lucky that we left him alive.” “Fine” the boy said, “but we need to find someone fast, or else we might get behind the other two. “True.” The girl glanced around the area until she found a girl who was wrapped in rags and bandages. “Bingo.” “Hello madam” The Older girl said flamboyantly while making a great show of intricate movements. The girl looked around before pointing at herself and looking up at her. “Yes I’m talking to you.” the older girl said smiling, “Me and my friend are a duo of traveling magic men, and we would like to give you this.” the older girl thrust up her hand conjuring a small puff of purple flame while simultaneously moving a stone that she had hidden in her sleeves onto the tip of her finger and balancing it there. “This is a magic stone, which has the unique ability of granting any one of it’s owners wishes.” She grabbed the stone with her tail, which was currently invisible and carefully laid it in front of the girl, making it look like it had floated down. “Be careful of what you wish for.” She winked and then walked off, followed by the boy who was shaking his head in disbelief and annoyance. The girl looked at the stone and then closed her eyes and concentrated. She opened her eyes and saw that nothing had changed. She sighed and looked at the ground. A few seconds later a traveler walked by he glanced at the girl as he passed and immediately she shimmered and transformed into the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He blinked in disbelief before walking away.
