Not to mention, This is more of a game/RP hybrid..
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Would you mind a few questions?
Are the immortals created with the world? As in the are given life after it? Or do they exist before hand and are brought to it? By the way, Can I suggest that this thread be for discussing and that you make another one specifically for the story thing.

Questions are fine. The basis of the game is that the Omni, since an all-powerful being apparently has nothing better to do, gets his entertainment by creating worlds and gods to inhabit them, and watching the ensuing development and conflict unfold. All gods were created at different times, but the Omni will often pull some of his favorites from old worlds to see them work again. So some of these characters may have been created on this world, others may be seasoned veterans from many worlds back.
And sure, that sounds like a good idea.

Everything looks good, so unless there are any exception I'll start the game tomorrow. In addition to being the GM I'll also be playing an immortal. He won't ever create a mortal race and will really be there mostly for story purposes.
Name: Teserath Concept: Teserath is an immortal of knowledge. He seeks to find out how things work and what he can do to change them. He often creates experiments, then throws them aside, and will one day be associated with forbidden magics as he is worshipped as the one responsible for horrible monstrosities and abominations. He rarely even pays his worshipers any notice, though he may grant them power and encourages the twisted experimentations they perform. Personality: Teserath is a logical being without morality. He does not really have emotions to speak of beyond curiosity. He doesn't love or hate, and whether an experiment fails or succeeds he simply acknowledges this fact and moves on to the next experiment. He is considered cold, and often over analysis others, making them uncomfortable by how bluntly he sees them. Appearance: Teserath appears the same to immortal and mortal alike, as he sees no point in needing to change his own form. He appears as a pale humanoid with an almost featureless face. He stands over 6 ft tall but is very thin, almost skeletal. His eyes are small black dots and his nose is mere slits. His ears are flat against his head and his small, lipless mouth is filled with sharp teeth. He often has a pair of large spectacles, and is completely hairless. He wears a rope with a hood, and his hand ends in unkept nails. Divine Rank: 1 Power: 1 Potence: 4 Presence: 1 Perception: 2 Symbolic: Teserath does not care for symbolism, but his priests will attribute symbols to him anywya. He doesn't care enough to tell them differently. They attribute the dagger as his Favoured weapon, as it can be used as a tool as well as a weapon. His favoured animal is a toad, and there are two symbols used by his followers to represent him. The first is a toad with a dagger cutting it down the back. The second symbol is a gnarled hand with an eye in the palm, the iris is swirled.

Gah, I completely forgot about this.
Yes, you may still join. Power is your ability to do difficult things. Perception is your ability to detect things or hide things from detection. Yes, you may outright attack other immortals.

Hey guys, really sorry, but I'm afraid I don't really have time to run this. A lot has come up recently and with school in a few weeks I'm going to be really hard pressed for time. Sorry to get your hopes up, I really wished I could've done this.

Unless anyone has objections, I could try..

no objections from me, so long as "Hyperion" is okay with it...

If he doesn't say anything, I'll start this tomorrow-ish.

Alright, I think I'll wait for someone else to jump into it first..
Mostly because I have a headache today.
