In the beginning, the world was dark.
It was He that saw the world. He, the Father-God and Maker of Worlds. The Omni. The All. He spoke a word and the sun was born. The world knew light. The Omni began the long task of making the world. He made the moon, he forged the stars, and his breath became the atmosphere. His hand shaped the lands of the world and then he called water to it, and the seas were born. He gazed upon his creation and smiled. The world was unfinished, but it was not he that would complete it. The Omni called to his children. From the uncountable numbers of the divine came few. They would walk this world. They would shape it. Their children would live upon it, and their actions would change it forever. The Gods would unknowingly make a masterpiece. The Omni watched, and waited.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Mina felt the pull of a world without gods and followed the pull.
Mina: "Where to end up in this world? I will go there!" She landed on a small island in the northwestern reaches of the world. Mina: "I think nice terrain is called for, specifically a plain with a flowing river and creatures to populate it." As she talks the land under her feet changes as she desires into plains (-2 motes) with creatures roaming around on it (-1 mote). Mina: "Now for some mystical servants. Kitsune and Tanuki should work well." Several fox spirits and racoon-dog spirits (-3 motes) appear before Mina and bow down to her before going off to guard the island. Mina: "Let's see what happens now." (Remainder: 4 motes)

I, Gilgamesh, floated down as a spirit to the center most island. I would create many fine creations to spread over the land. The first would be the Mythical Dragons (-2 points) to forever be a symbol of my power. Next I would create more heroic races. The Dragonborn (-3 points), who would wield the power of the Draconic spirit, and the Goliaths (-3 points), to harness the power of the Earth itself. Then I would spread life (-1 point) so that the races would not go hungry, and to restore my power, I would sow the seeds of conflict between my two races (+1 point), while inspiring heroism in the Dragonborn (+1 point) to give them the advantage. Finally I raise a hero from the Dragonborn (-1 point), so that I may lead them, and combine my soul with his. His eyes glow red as I enter his body, and two extra sets of arms sprout from his body. I name him after myself, Gilgamesh, and take a break to rule my warring tribe.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

The new world came into view as Crav awoke. A brand new, untarnished world with which he could do as he wished. It was a beautiful blank world, just waiting to be influenced.
Slowly Crav reached down and touched the ground. Here is where he would begin. Here is where he would start his influence. He raised a grand Mountain to separate his Land and created a forest on one half and a desert on the other (-2 points).

A buzzard descended upon the new world. It was a haggard and ugly creature, and it spiraled as it approached the land it sought.
Far to the west of the new world lay Five Isles in the sea. The Buzzard angled for the largest central one. As it landed, it changed. What was once a buzzard was now a wizened woman. The Hag-Queen herself. Zaya cackled with glee as she glanced around the dirt-covered island. It would make a marvelous home for her and her kin. Then she spat on the dirt. The earth in that spot cracked.. and life flew out. Bugs and lizards, seed for trees, and brackish water. The islands were gripped in a sudden transformation. Crooked tree sprouted in the shallow brackish water, as crows and large insects flew through the air. Fishes and snakes shifted through water, as the sky above the islands covered with clouds. Soon, the islands were covered in impenetrable swamp. The Hag-Queen clicked her teeth, and a large cave between the trees. It rose slightly above the water, and even the animals shunned it. Zaya entered her home. Now was a time for watching, Yes.. (Create Life -1, Alter Terrain -2. 7 Motes remaining.)

Mina notices as the other gods enter into the world.
Mina: "Hmmmm, a God of Heroism. This'll be interesting. I think I'll make a race." Mina gestures and from the air appears imps (-3 motes), mere weakling demons to be her first race. Mina: "Prepare this island for the future races that I will create." The imps scurry off to do Mina's bidding.

The God-Emperor walked the lands as a tall man with golden skin, dressed in opulent robes. The place he chose was to the north of the Five Isles. It was vast and flat, but the dirt displeased him.
So he spoke and grass began to grow. Tall waving grass covered most of the southern half of the land before the power fueling it died. Hazet spoke again and animals were formed. Things that burrowed, clever birds and huge hairy hoof-walking animals soon covered the grasslands. Then, Hazet made his people. He made them in his own image. They were tall, handsome and with metallic skin. Gold, bronze, copper, even silver they were. The newly born people saw the God-Emperor, who stood head and shoulders above them. Hazet spoke, "You are my people, and I am your god. Your ruler. I will guide you to safety and greatness!" The people, the Draemar, bowed to their emperor. He gave them orders. Orders to raise a walled city to become the capital of a great nation. With a word, he supplied them with what they would need to make it. The Draemar moved to please their god. Crav gazed across his land from his moutains. He decided it was time to bring life to his new land. Gliding effortlessly into the forest Crav blew gently into the ground. Suddenly a multitude of forest life sprang forth from the dirt. The creatures wasted no time in scattering across the forrest. Crav smiled, they were beautiful, but they weren;t enough. He could do better.
Crav once again leaned down the the dirt and grabbed handfulls of clay. He packed the clay together to form a shape similar to his own. he than began to carfully carve the clay into beautiful features. Soon he had carved a figure. It had long slender arms and strong, delicate fingers. It's face was beautiful in a simple way. Crav leaned close and blew gently into the figure. It's clay skin changed into solid tanned flesh and the figure came alive. Crav stole a single lock of hair from the newly created Durhian and scattered it to the wind. The strands of hair formed even more Durhians. "You are Durhian. You are creations of my own design and are thus a part of me. Go, and spread your talents to this land." (- 4 points)

Crav was very satisfied with his race. He would let them prosper by themselves. While they were eft to thier own devices Crav would explore the rest of this new world. He sensed activity to the Northeast. Lots of activity.
The journey was uneventful, but finnaly Crav cam upon a large grassy continent that seemed to be populated by demonic creatures. He would seek out the one who had made these wonderful creatures.

Waverider loved the seas. The rushing waves and endless sky..
However, the sea was far to vacant here. The Goddess swam through the northern sea. She felt, distantly, the surge of life from that accursed Hag-Queen. It made her slightly jealous, so she reacted with a few critters of her own. She made sharks. Sharks were awesome. To make it better, she made a few of them giant sharks. No, make that giant intelligent sharks! Of course, the sharks needed something to eat, so she made some fish and things. Then Waverider decided to use one of the Giant Sharks as her steed, and began to circle around the Northern Sea. Time to observe her domain. "I came to see. That is all. This is a brand new world we are shaping and I had to see it with my own eyes. It's a beautiful thing, our infulence. We use it so skillfully to craft the very world. A wonderful thing to witness."
Crav gazes listfully at the sky. "Ah, but enough of my contemplations. I wish you well in your endeavors."

The Hag-Queen, crouched in her cave, decided she needed a better spying tool. The wizened hag stood and walked to the rear wall of her cave. Talon-like fingernails scrapped the wall. Every-time they scratched, the wall changed to crystal. Soon, a vast mirror of crystal covered the wall.
Zaya smiled at the rough hewn mirror before sending her power into it. Enough power to see anything at anytime, without anyone even feeling a thing. The crystal vibrated with power and began to glow. Images danced across it. Finally, the deed was done. Zaya sighed and wished for a chair. The stone floor of her damp cave rose to form a throne made of stone. The Hag-Queen sat on her throne and gazed at the crystal. There was much to see, she decided. (Make Divine Artifact -4. 3 Motes remaining)

Her Giant Shark steed guided her to one of the lands. As the Goddess rose to the surface of the water, she saw many moving figures. Small things that smelled like demons.
The Goddess wondered who wandered this place. She hoped they didn't make any nasty sea demons.
