It's a contest. A sports event. We can't just not have some sort of big shiny thing we can present to the winner during the festivals final ceremony. That's like winning in the Olympics and getting a celebratory pat on the back when you win. Sure you have the honor and fame, but the medals make it real. It's proof that you went the distance.

I'm going to have a tier system on my heroes. Emere has 3 tiers, in fact all the heroes might have 3 tiers but I'm not sure yet. I'll probably just use either tier 1 or tier 2 for this fight.

Emere is a Genasi, so he is a half-elemental can manifest elements.

Well, Wulfs heroes won their first two matches, and lost the third against one of Phi's. The Babysitter and Grace are going to do a thing together, and Mik, Crav, Muffin, and a pair of watchers are currently building a sand fortress outside the city. Don't ask me how that happened.
