Been at it for years.

Now, do it without psychic powers.

Special muscles combining the best qualities of the fast-twitch and slow-twitch muscle fiber, allowing the legs to go faster, for longer periods of time.

Naturally physical superspeed would be less fast than the psychic/psionic version.

Technology based?

Basically, I want to know what psionic/tech/physical ways you could use a power in a sci-fi heavy setting.

Tech is probably the easiest. You could do it several ways.

Oh, tech is easy. Just make some tech that mimics the functions of what the psionics would do. Perhaps a tachyon-infusion capacitor, to permanently bestow superhumanly accelerated capabilities (speed, reflexes, recovery, metabolism, etc.) or a mental temporality decelerator (they see it slower, they move faster).

Nano-filament Reinforced bones and such?

What about mind to mind communication?

(Telepathy is obvious, so focus on the other possibilities.)

Yeah, or earmuffs attuned to mental frequencies.

Ahh, but how would you communicate with people without those chips?

This is beginning to create a rather interesting idea for a sci-fi roleplay.

Maybe one where you can be a robot/cyborg Marv.

If it's sci-fi, who's to say that everyone doesn't have a chip implanted in their brain?

Or maybe...ear buds? A blu-tooth-like earpiece?

Think crazy advanced Shadow.

Don't just think outside of the box, blow it to shreds.

Transparent ear-cast (the ear equivalent of those invisible dentures) that is hard to detect, harder to counteract, and incredibly invasive, depending on your dial-setting. Filled with nanites, each built with highly sensitive thoughtwave nanotransmitters. Even built with a function, allowing the wealthier folks to BROADCAST thoughts through their mouths like a phonogram.

Honestly, I was thinking more along the lines of being surrounded by a nano-fog that could transmit the electrical signals in the brain through transmitters in the skull right through the skull of another person.

Telepathy without telepathy!

Now..

How about a physical one?
