1. Stop discussing Cyclops. When they come up with a superhero who was so awesome, that he's NEVER had to make a single outfit change, then we can get on other superheroes. Thankyouverymuch.
2. It's up to you. I'm the main one really reading it or writing it anyhow, so it's fine. If you don't want to, you don't have to. Just don't feel like you can ask any favors of me if you don't...

That's exactly it. And apparently, she doesn't know what it's like to ever have mixed feelings about anything, so she can't empathize. Mako's a jerk, because he's confused.

Oh. no. you. didn't.
Dude, he never BROKE UP WITH ASAMI! And his love declaration..just didn't stick. Anyways, when I start dating (in my 30s) maybe then I'll understand....Teenagers and their bending and their hormones..

I didn't say he was 100% right, he should have broken up with Asami first, but it's very possible he broke up with her off-screen, or will soon. And even if he didn't, he probably just realized it, or just became willing to admit it, so he sealed the deal with a kiss as soon as the notion came to him (before maybe losing the nerve later).
Not to mention, if we just gave up on people anytime they've been jerkish to you, then you and I wouldn't have been friends so long. You have to learn how to be empathetic. Ya know what they call people unable to display empathy? Sociopaths.

I...darn you and your logic.
I am empathetic, it's just..when it comes to men in Avatar I expect them to behave better. My standards for good person behavior in fiction is waaay diff than real life. Also, WHY YOU GOTTA BRING UP OLD STUFF???

(I agree with you)

Of course you do. The two of you have very similar views.
Doesn't make your view right, though. If you're fine with Batman having an on-again-off-again relationship with Catwoman, no commitments, despite the fact that he knows she's a criminal, then BE SILENT when Mako just has a little guy moment, and has a hard time choosing which girl he thinks is hotter.

And why don't you keep old stuff in mind, so I don't have to bring it up???

Catwoman obviously doesn't care what Batman does.
Asami rather does care what Mako does.

VRAIMENT??? (REALLY) LISTEN YOU NO COMIC BOOK READING ********! THEY ARE IN A COMMITED MONOGAMOUS RELATIONSHIP.
Plus, Catwoman is a good girl now! Seriously, don't bring comic books into if your knowledge is out of date. And I thought you weren't supposed to choose who to love based on looks alone??

My point has nothing to do with whether Asami or Catwoman care about the guys with whom they're involved. Simple fact is, regardless of who's okay with what, Batman's still corrupt, and a jerk. He's been around WAY longer, and he is a GROWN BEHIND MAN. Mako is still an immature teen. I wouldn't trust EITHER of them to make good decisions with women as far as I can throw them. And I can't throw them far at all, because they're cartoons. At best, they'd float.
That's what you get when you invest such high hopes in nonexistent people: the creators are like "Hey, let's make our characters more realistic!" And then you get even more disappointment. They simply can't win! If they make their characters too nice and chivalrous "He's a sue; he has no layers; he's boring; he has no character development; I don't like him!" And if he actually has issues like a real male, "He's a jerk! He's a dog! All men are dogs, even the cartoon ones! Broke that poor girl's heart! Blah, blah, blah!" That's why neither of you probably have a relationship, now! Never satisfied!

******************************************************************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU DID NOT JUST BRING BRUCE INTO THIS! You do not read Batman comics, therefore what you say is of no value. Just like I can'ttalk about Misfits, you can't say a word for or against the DCU because. You. Know. Nothing. Don't you dare try to oversimplify my opinion. You can say he is confused, but I cannpt say he is a jerk? Your opinion is somehow more valid then mine? Does your perception outreach mine? Do you find yourself mentally superior on the basis that my opinion is stupid? Why is it that you reject everyone else's opinion? And I'm single, last I checked YOU said that was good. But now its bad because I disagree with you, Interesting,

And you're only helping prove my point, you disdainful, hipster comic book fangirl.
Batman USED to be in a non-committed relationship with Catwoman. As in, is not anymore. As in, he CHANGED. Like Mako undoubtedly will in the future. Zale, I believe you said something about having a point? Yeah, that wasn't you, that was me.

Read the rest of what I wrote before you start getting snippy.
The whole point is, I don't need to know about comics to know what I've seen. I'm not oversimplifying anybody's opinion, that's what you always do to me. Saying I know NOTHING because I don't read comics. But I don't make up stuff. I use what knowledge I have, and you still made my point regardless of what knowledge you have! I'm gonna give you a chance to read my other comment before I get very irate and you say some things you'll regret.

I still think you are the same person.
Split Personalities are so fun.

No! You've started this whole thing, thinking that you can disregard my opinion and treat me like what I said had no value, because I didn't agree with you, and because I don't read comics!
You always try to throw that up in my face, like that's the only way I could know anything about Batman or the DC Universe. And DC is superior to Marvel, and Mako's a jerk, and all this other crap, so let's talk about it! So, FIRST of all, I did know that Batman and Catwoman were in a committed relationship. But they WEREN'T ALWAYS. So, if you can call Mako a jerk just because he can't make up his mind (like a person in real life) then I can call Batman a jerk because he HAD a (former villain) for an on-again-off-again girlfriend, in the past. The both of them will MATURE over time, so just like it would be wrong for me to write Batman off as a jerk for that, it's wrong for you to write Mako off. I was making a point. As I often do. And as often happens, it goes over your head, and you just have to get all defensive about your poor innocent, perfect Batman. Girl please. I like Batman as much as the next guy. But you can't overlook the personality development of one character, and scrutinize the personality development of another. It makes you unfair in your judgment. And if you ever throw up in my face that I don't read comics again, then it will not end pretty. I already told you before, you can cut the hipster bullcrap, it doesn't impress me, or make me feel any less than you. You're not better than me, you're not above me, and you're not beyond me. All it does is piss me off, and make me want to say and do very violent things to you. Like I said, not everybody has money for that crap; I have fines to pay back, so I can't check them out frm any library. If anybody should be offended, it should be me, because, yet again, you show your utter lack of empathy, and civility. Just think about it. Not once did I call you a name until you called me a name, and I was trying to have a joking conversation with you, and you had to turn it into some angry, competitive argument. So, if you want to COMPETE, I'm not interested. But, if you want to talk like a person with GOD BLESSED SENSE, I'll be waiting her, trying not to punch a hole through this computer in frustration.
