Precisely.

“…Judge not what a man has done, but judge what he could have done if he was a different bloke altogether. For art thou a leper? And a leper can changeth his spots…”   --Rudy Wade, Misfits (Series 4, Episode 8)

..Fine then instead of the sword function can I just have a pair of gloves that I can use to focus my abiilities and store a small amount of insanity,  say fifteen points total.

So, you can't have a magic sword so you want equally powerful magic gloves?

I never said they were powerful. I said they were equal in power.

My point is though if you couldn't have the sword, why should you get the gloves?

Then exactly what is your problem with them. Gloves would fit with th eentire Jester Motif, and I simply wanted a sword in case I had to fight someone usuing hand to hand combat and I was already low on spirit power or high in insanity.

The only part that fits your motif is the insanity part.

You can have a sword nobody said otherwise. You just can't have a magical sword. You get a normal sword and the skill to use it. You won't be a master swordsman; in fact you'll have as much skill with a blade as any other cannon fodder grunt.

once again stop with the insults it's getting a bit annoying, weapons skills should be a spereate area that requires training, except when dealing with class attributes, lie you would have a natural sword enhancement of + thirty or something at level one.

Their not a power anyway, and if this were true everyone would get an item at that level as well...you'd probably get something along the lines of a shape shifting chainsaw rifle sword.

Sorry, I take the term cannon fodder grunt as an insult when going over any level of skill.

That is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. You have too many powers, you don't get any items that give you even more power.
