Well, its either one-shoting him or the arrows falling away useless. Is there something I can do to be useful without being overpowered?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

shoot his flippin elbows so he can't rais his hands to cast spells.

In addition, Marve's sword should be able to deflect the spell apparently.

It did keep him from being shocked.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

I can't leave him as a squishy mage. To many nasty demons attacking.

Clever with the staff Jester. The only thing that stopped it from working was my love of the dramatically appropriate. Can't let him get beat up RIGHT after he changes, now, can I?

I don't take &#*$$ when I hear about some giant monster that's being summoned on an island, I don't allow it to be solved by a rag tag group of heroes. I drop a freaking nuke, or better yet, kill the cult before they start to form.

I get all of the mages I know to cast summon lighting a the same time as I get all of the alchemists to create a magic strengthening system

Also, I was using a comparison, not talking about sending a nuke in the middle ages. I'm not a dunce.
