Hm...Jester's had some ideas in the past about battle royales.
Battle tourneys of sorts.
Now I'm considering them, and I think that the "Play Games!" sections may be the place for them to work, provided we make them out as freeform, rather than as actual roleplays. Basically, narrating them like real-live games, without US actually being the characters. The entire thing is IC/OOC, so both comments are welcome within. And there is no "illusion of reality", it is known in-thread that a game is taking place, and that we are using characters.
One such game idea that came to ME? Well, what about some freeform versions of games that exist now?
Like, one person could narrate, and whoever else could be participants. Such as playing Resident Evil, or Donkey Kong 64, or Super Smash Bros. Naturally, at least one member of gameplay would be wise to know how exactly the game works. Or, if you're clever enough, you could adapt some of the rules that you don't like, or don't think are effective, to make gameplay more suited to the needs of the narrator or the players.
Similar to GV's Domain Game Quest in the RP section, but not quite like that.
Sound good to anybody here? If so, we can discuss how the comments threads and gameplay will go.
