what If I sharpened the tip of the baseball bat with a rock? or better yet a saw blade, got it form rabbing an abandoned sporting goods shop and they had some wood working/ repair tools in the back.

Now I have a blunt winging utensil, and a stabbing device. The character isn't the brightest at the current time. If it were me I honestly would have picked up some of the hockey gear, a few of the steel weighted balls, and the gun that most stores keep under the cash register, but he said, " oh cool a bat,, This'll show those FREAKING CAT!!!!!!!!!!"

But I'm just rying to explain a previous action so i won't have to go back and change it.So make of it what you will.
