Ya that tends to be the case so but the unique equipment for the psychi users and sorcerium wielders, not to mention the mech pilots counter balance that.

not all of em have normal guns. Even though railguns are still being tested that never means they try testing them on the field. Also I keep mentioning plasma/energy weapons. Of course they are gonna harness plasma to fight back. And mechs are the new tanks. Try surviving giant shotgun shells near one of these things while one of its arms has an energy chainsaw.

Would they have Plasma Blades (A sword with a super-heated plasma blade, kept in shape by a magnetic field emitted by the hilt. The shape of the blade can be altered depending on how you put pressure on the hilt. Requires tons of training to get right, but is really frickin' deadly when you know how to use it. Like a shape-shifting light saber. )

Sonic Cannons? (That compress and release air in a carefully directed column of sound. )

Shock Grenades (Which bounce around, releasing an electric shock into any organic being they touch)

Cybernetic Limbs? (Mechanical arms that hit hard, etc.)

Brain Scramblers? (Psi-tech, unleashes a disorienting wave of telepathic energy that interferes with the minds of anyone in range, unless they have special training.)

Yup. I definitely recommend Marv as GM for the Tech Side.

If they can make mechs, why not make autonomous robotic drones?

I mean, one that's a gun-on-legs set to shoot anything that moves could be very deadly, even to mages.

And if you can make tons of them, you have the possibility of draining the enemy resources before you even risk your own troops.

They have robots but like I said they take more resources cause the robots can only be active in proximity of certain areas. So they would be more active as their defenses.

Nope no magic gene. As for the guns Tech can keep them off hand of magi cause the weapons implode upon five minutes of the users death. Magi that do use guns are in the neutral side cause their techs can remove that bomb.

If the tech was high enough, I might go tech side. If not, I would probably go to Tech/Magic.

not just metals but energy to maintain robots the key pieces to program their movements and combat. And any robot that is made can move freakin fast and are agile enough to handle a mage. Just making drones is useless because they always get destroyed easily.

Neural link, matrix style to upload information into my brain.

Enhanced sensory equipment.

Bio-Energy, Long-ranged, Energy Pistol.

Hover/Rocket-Pack.

A few things:

It can't take anymore energy to support a single drone once it's been programmed than it does to support a single weapon on a Mech.

If these people haven't discovered some means of acquiring lots of energy, then what are they doing?

And Drones can be recovered and recycled, if they can be manufactured cheaply, then there's no problem. If not, then drones could still be used in scouting and spying.
