Since I can't find the old thread..

If you were to select six heroes or heroines from myth or foklore, which ones would you select?

I'd have to go mainly Greek.

Heracles (mortal form). Brute/Muscle/Athlete, naturally.

Odysseus. Leader/Brain.

Daedalus. Brain/Tech.

Orpheus (from the mythology where he's mortal, or at least just a child of only one deity; either Apollo OR the Muse Calliope, not both). The Bard/Charmer, as well as Seer/Oracle when necessary.

Asclepius (Mortal Form). Healer (capable even of raising the dead).

Medea. Wild Card (Blaster, Manipulator, etc).

Very nice.

I was actually gonna try to go throughout the different mythologies and just pick and choose, but I decided it was best to go with folks I knew best. The first ones that really came to mind were the Greeks.

I really like your choices, though. I haven't heard of all those people, but I like them. Very clever.

Nice. From what I've read, Sun Wukong was a team all by himself!

You guys are making me feel bad! I missed out on some choice folks.

Let's try another team, huh?

Merlin. Obvious Leader, not to mention, Wild Card (Seer, Blaster, Manipulator, etc).

Faust. Brains and Wild Card (Seer, Blaster, Manipulator, etc).

Stingy Jack. Immortal Trickster, and a 'denizen of the netherworld' (which I think would give him some advantage in infernal matters...).

Anansi (the spider/man version, not the god version). Trickster, and Thief.

Autolycus. Shapeshifter Wild Card (read the first entry in that link; he was a master thief, and not only could he transform himself; he could transform the items he stole; he also had a helmet of invisibility).

Paul Bunyan (and his faithful Blue Ox, Babe. I'd go with the fifty-foot-tall version of them, but with the possibility to be shrunk to normal size by Merlin, while maintaining the strength and durability of their true sizes). Tank/Brick/Muscle.
