I shall be using a Fair Folk (Raksha) character from the Exalted setting of moderate power.

I hope your character can keep up.

What shall the terrain be?

Since I chose the other conditions, terrain is yours to choose.

I will refrain from setting the battle in the Wyld (The natural habitat of the Fair Folk) as this would basically give my character near reality bending levels of power.

The setting of the battle will be a slightly alien valley. Rising high around are tall mountains, the valley itself its oval in shape. One half is taken up by a large lake full of green, though harmless, water. Purple grass dominates most of the center of the valley, while red-barked and purple leafed trees make up the other half.

We will start in the center.

A portal opens in the certain and out steps an asian-looking woman with a black coat that appears to shimmer silver as she moves. At her waist is a katana in it's sheath, the hiltguard is made out of a silvery-white metal and on her hands are black gloves. She looks around then sighs, "This is the place I was supposed to go to, right? Or did I get the coordinates wrong.... again?"

A woman, or at least something in the shape of one, appeared from a glimmering gate before the woman.

Short and waif-like with pale skin and ice-blue eyes that peered over several colorful scarfs, the raksha walked forward. There was little human in her face, despite it's appearance. It was too.. perfect. The kind of incredible flawlessness that was itself a obvious sign of utter inhumanity. Dressed in a colorful, yet practical, array of clothing she looked up haughtily at the other.

All together, she would have looked quite comical, had it not been for the four-foot long sword strapped to her back.. or the electric aura about her. A sheer viciousness that suggested she would love to take advantage of any underestimation of herself.

"I am Karnata, The Warrior of the Alabaster Fortress. Are you to be my foe?"

"Yes, I am to be your opponent. My name is not important, but if you wish to address me as anything, I will go by Crescent in honor of my ancestors' teacher."

She draws her blade, revealing that its whole length is the same silvery-white as the hilt, pointing it at Karnata before moving foreward and swinging it down towards her. Channeling energy into its blade to enhance its cutting power, the blade seems to have slight amounts of fire dancing along its edge.

Karnata stepped lightly to the side with quicksilver speed, scarves streaming after her in an explosion of color.

"What manner of creature are you? Flesh or fowl or good red herring?" She continued, unperturbed.

The sword slices the ground seconds after Karnata steps to the side, causing a chasm to open where there hadn't been one before. Crescent raises the blade and goes into a kendo stance, "What manner of creature, you ask? Human, pure human. My clan never married other races."

Crescent moves forward once more, this time twice as fast as before and slashes yet again, but this time from the side.

(And yes, according to D&D data, that would happen if she slashed downwards)

(Book Of Nine Swords? Swordsage? How powerful would this attack be.. I need to know to know how this would affect my character. )

The Raksha raised an arm, sleeve sliding down to show the pale skin of her arm.

"I am of the Fair Folk, born from chaos, I was forced into physical form by the tyranny of the material world. So I forged a form to the utmost perfect that I could. Strong as the mountains, fast as the winds. A body with skin like steel. What harm can you inflict upon me, clay born mortal?"

She allowed the blow to land on it, sending up sparks.

(She does have a fairly good damage soak. I have no idea what type of attack you're attempting, so I honestly have no idea the results.)

(Actually, worse than those. Think God-Slaying in terms of power.)

The blade bites easily into the skin continuing through without pause.

(I really need to know what you're using. I'm practically an expert on broken things in D&D, and I can't tell what you're using. If it's homebrew, I'll be rather annoyed.)

"Interesting." Said the Raksha as she dissolved into a gust of wind. Several yards away, she reconstituted herself from the air.

"You have harmed me. I ponder how, but it matters very little to me. The damage is far from severe."  Karnata announced lightly, without disregard to the silvery ichor leaking from her arm.

She smiled.

"Shall you try again?"

(Immortal's Handbook and a few others. Think platinum katana with a bit of Orichalcum and the Soniferous ability times ten plus a few others)

"Try again?" Crescent smiles. "Why don't we?"

She raises the blade up, then cries, "Divinity Crusher!"

As Crescent swings the katana down a blast of energy flies toward Karnata.

(Oh and it can drain divinty, but that shouldn't affect Karnata unless she's a god)

(... You're using an epic level handbook (Third party, no less) against a moderately powerful being who, in her own setting, is one of the less powerful types of being? Alrighty then. Time to do what Raksha are good at.)

Wind rippled around her, pushing her upwards.

She took flight, riding a whirlwind and soaring upwards out of the path of the attack.

With a click of her tongue, the Raksha replied to the ostentatious attack with one of her own, hurling a lightning bolt at the mortal.

Crescent moves to the side seconds before the bolt goes through where she was, before dropping another blade from her sleeve into her hand, this one smaller and pure white in color before throwing it at Karnata.

(Celerity, 1/4096 Orichalcum Thinblade (It's still 512 lbs))

(How can she even lift that? You'd need a ST score in the high twenties.. )

Furious winds whipped at the blade, trying to divert it's course: To no avail, for their ephemeral touch could not shift such a heavy burden.

In mid-air, Karnata swiveled in an attempt to dodge. The blade sliced along the side of her face, narrowly missing an eye.

(Actually, it's STR 55 to use the blade. There's a very good reason as to why she has the necessary strength)

As her opponent dodges her blade, Crescent fires off yet another attack, this time the Divinity Nova.

(Divinity Nova, ranged explosion, range: 13,365 km, radius: 167.7 km, damage 5.5*10^5 divine)
(Divine damage ignores any magical protection in it's way)
