Being a sea creature, only a couple of the options seem viable unless we want to create something truly strange. Which is possible.

Out of the ones that I view as viable, I think Immobile could be pretty interesting. Being a filter feeder, it would have to have some way of attracting or drawing things to it then wouldn't it?

You make a good point. But I feel that sitting on the ground would lead to a boring species. Coral is okay to look at, but I don't feel it would be to fun to observe for any great length of time.

I vote for sailing, as the Man o War does. It's a fairly strange and unique form of locomotion for an animal.

Actually, no, I want to change my vote. All of the really cool filter feeders (whales and big sharks) swim. We need to swim. I change my vote to swimming.

I think that counts as swimming.

heh, any movement by a creature in water can be seen as swimming.

But the squids form of jet propulsion is quite unique.


I vote for movement used by flying fish.  Surface gliding.

Now we move onto the joy of Body Symmetry.

Then things like number of limbs, if they can manipulate things, and senses (Senses are fun).

I recommend Bilateral.

Radial nets you things like starfish, Spherical is simply spheres, Asymmetrical is things like trees.
