The main problem at the moment is profit management; how do I get the money from the sales to the author (solved) then to Justin and those managing the business (Myself + anyone who volunteers).

It may seem simple, but how do you send bank details over an insecure website to minors on opposite sides of the planet?
1) I'd have to use another site, but what?
2) Minors (those under 18; the majority of the site) cannot be signing their bank details away.
3) To top it off, each country (i.e. U.S.A, Australia, Wales, etc) has different laws regarding business management.

I'm thinking, for the different shareholders:
1) Putting my share of profit (for the limited amount of business management required) into another bank account, allowing it to grow and gain interest until I turn 18, after which I transfer the money over when needed.
2) Justin would be able to collect his profit easily -he's an adult, most likely 20's/30's.
3) The writer gets it directly, paying the business in a franchise-like system; giving a share of their profits (probably 10%, so it's easy to work out) to the company so it can be distributed easily.

Yes, but this is the income management problem.

A webcomic will work better than a published one -no printing costs and can be read in any country. In addition, I will be able to translate it into Esperanto (with the write typing software) more easily to increase the audience and to appeal to Esperanto fanatics.

Well, of course it'd be a webcomic! Anything else, and you'd have to worry about distribution via paper, which is MUCH more limited! Haha...

Other than that, does anyone have the tech to get this puppy up and goin'?

Good question. If anyone does have the capability to get it running, they can receive stories from authors and out them in comics.

Some may just be drawn and written by two different people, then put together (maybe the illustrator who receives the story, then draws it) and uploaded by the final person.

I'm still not sure about how I'll organize this comic though.

Well, you might have to get Photoshop to get it working...sounds like the most viable option.

Anybody have parents/a job that would let you just buy an advanced version of Photoshop without regretting spending so much of the money allowed to you?

I might just run this thing and provide ideas for stories, not do any writing, illustrating or uploading.

I enjoy coming up with plotlines -it's making it into a story which bores me.

well, I don't think anyone else here (including myself) has the time/patience/energy to do it either...

I do....on rare occasion...............during the summer months at least, it only takes me a few seconds to write up a coherent interesting plot line if I let my mind drift somewhere else while I do it.......although I don't trut my art skill sin the slightest...............I'm working on a comic for art class right now and it's freaking hard!!!!!!!!

Well, it's not SO bad if done in all pencil...Pencil tends to be my primary medium, and anything more complex than that leaves my drawings looking rather crappy...

yeah but then you have to scan it into a computer to get it onto the net and unfortunately scanners add every single individual line and wrinkle in surprising clarity, making the entire comic look horrible, then you have to send it through a photo shop just to get rid of that, then everything looks off because the coloring is messed up do to the three dimensional drawing medium you originally used, so you have to redo the coloring, and re ink  because while zooming in on it you realize that you made several infinitesimally small mistakes that you wouldn't have given a #)$& about otherwise, then after going over it ten thousand times, eventually you say screw this and post the thing anyway then seeing it as a disappointment eventually going back to redo it anyway....unless your on a deadline, in which case you don't give a mite's brain.

 Well...we COULD always do stick-figure/basically-basic character designs. Like a certain webcomic I know of.

Not the exact same style, but basically the theme of comedic basic-ness in mind.
