Indeed. Better recognize it. Aang and Korra are called Avatar FIRST.

And I have much love for the Avatar movie, but they're not Avatars, they're Pandoran Na'vi. And when I SPEAKS about the Na'vi, I SAY Na'vi.

Well technically by the definition of an Avatar the Na'vi who are being controlled by humans are Avatars.....just sayin'

Well, if you want to get technical, the first true Avatars, in Hindu Mythology, were actually incarnate manifestations of the gods. And since it is unknown if the people in Aang and Korra's world worshiped gods, the spirits are the closest thing. And since Aang and Korra are manifestations of a connection between the mortal world and the spirit world, that would make them the closest non-divine equivalent of that. Meaning that I'm right. Aside from literal manifestations of gods, Aang and Korra, and the line they reincarnate from would come first.

Just sayin'.

I already knew most of that....I'm saying that both have rightful claims to the title Avatar,

 And I'm saying that Avatar: The Last Airbender will be what I mean, nearly every time I refer to Avatar. Because I knew Aang as the Avatar first. I never meant that Avatar applied somehow less to the Na'vi.

It was only my opinion.
