Seems we won't finish this for the New Year, but that's mostly my fault. Its okay though, now that I;m back in action it shouldn't take long to wrap this up.

I was saving that for the Red Eye but you just served the guy up on a silver platter. The bad guy, the circumstances, Billys religion, it all just came together. I couldn't not do it. It was too perfect.

Also, I have been waiting to pull that out of my hat literally since Billy's conception.

The fight (and the thread) is coming to a close pretty soon anyways so that was a pretty damn cool way to herald the end.

I've got an idea to handle this awesome turn of events. Give me a bit and tomorrow I'll roll out the beginning of the end.

If all goes as planned everyone can get in a last shot and we'll wrap this up with the mother of all team take-downs.

Depending on what you guys do now, you'll either end up briefly (very, very briefly) fighting the red eyes and destroying him while he;s weak from breaking free or prevent his escape in the first place by defeating the acolytes quickly.

then we'll wrap up....hold a funeral for Billy and finish.

Those were going to be a part of the ending but after I lost my notes, I totally forgot about them. I guess they're pretty much useless now. So much for Chekhov's Gun...

I was planning on Billy solving his after everything was over and then being absolutely flabbergasted that something that was no doubt useful had been ignored by him.

Before I assume incorrectly, Phi, what is the exact purpose and effect of your spell?

To permanently seal back the Red Eyes and the ones currently trying to do the ritual. You can change it up however you want to make it fit your next post.

That's good, we can end this earlier than I thought. Maybe the ending will be a bit anti-climactic but that's mostly poor planning on my part. At least it'll have a definitive end, better than the Galactic Invasion RP...(*shudder*)

No wait, scratch that. I can work in a more climatic ending if I can get someone to one shot a pleading acolyte in a badass "Gunslinger" sort of way...maybe Asoka? or Wulf?
