Actually, you're completely within your rights to lecture me. I've been winging my RPs since the Galactic Invasion RP

I basically do that for everything.

I make a sketchy plan, then go with the flow.

This is because it's unlikely the plan will go exactly as I want anyway, so I don't try to get all the wee details.

The best way to do it is to plan some vague events, then out them wherever the party happens to be going.

I've decided I don't know what the hell I'm doing in this RP. So feel free to help if you want by taking the reigns and guiding your own training as much as you want. I'll be back to posting soon, but it may not be my best work.

Absolutely, its better than anything I had. In all honesty I don;t know why I thought I could do this portion of the training myself. Its much better to let you guys do it.

Of course when we get to the more technical side(i.e. the actual spells and such), I'll switch back over.

I was just going to have the Mr. Nix lay a few techniques on Billy because the concept of things that don't really die (like the apostles) really offends The Lord of the Black Manor.

And to give you a visual on the man Billy just got fresh with (yes, calling someone rude is Billy getting fresh with them):

Sure, go for it. And if Mr. Nix is anything like the Undertaker....this should be interesting.

(On a side note, that's one of my favorite animations on the web)

I spelled Nyx wrong, but I think that spelling might actually work better with his..... persona? Look? The way he presents himself?

Persona.

Maybe I could steal inspiration from a recent puzzle game and go all antichamber on the labyrinth.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

If I have to narrate Piper for a short while could I get a quick review of her personality, please?

I can narrate her if you don't want to, but if you feel you need to for the sake of congruity here you go.

Piper is hyper, fast talking and always ready. She doesn't think, she just acts. This is due in part to her rather shark-like tendency to keep moving forward. As you may recall she is partially shark like in appearance. She is friendly and optimistic almost to a fault, but will easily become morose and depressed if she is beaten in any way. She has displayed the tendency to make references to things that may sound threatening or dark, but in actuality are completely harmless (she might say something like "He made a killing in his field" when she simple means he did well.)

Ok, thanks, now for GV, is Mr. Nix/Nyx (whichever it is) actually there or not? Just making sure for what I'm thinking about doing.

He's there. I'm going to play it as the Headmaster and the Lord have an understanding with each other.

Basically, a Knight administrates the Death School final practical exam every year. There are a lot of Knights, and they work for the Lord, and the Lord is the death of all thing. When the universe ends, he's the one that turns off the lights, puts up the chairs, and locks the door on his way out. It's a big deal.

If that's all right with Marv, of course.

I was wondering whether it was possible for either A) A few of the MCA senior students to 'see' how well the students of KCoM can wield magic and fight with 'testing' them as a front or B) if I a person I'm considering introducing into NB could do for Asoka and Piper what Mr. Nix is doing for Billy.

For the second option, since the person in question is meant to be Crescent's partner-inicombat, neither Asoka nor Piper have a chance in combat against her. In wits, maybe, but definitely not in combat.

Since this whole part of the training is more a mental and emotional hurdle, I'd say potentially yes on the first one. This part is in no way supposed to be a straight up fight, unless losing/winning in a fight is what the character needs to change. And then only if its not an actual fight, but more of an abstraction, like fighting your inner demons or fighting a literally impossible to beat enemy
