Hey, as long as things are going so slow, I was wondering if I could get an appraisal of Billy as a character. Just what you can tell about his personality and beliefs. I've been trying to portray his cultural hangups without actually stating them explicitly, and was wondering if I was doing it well.

'Respect the dead and living while being upbeat all the time' is how i see Billy.

I see Billy as a very energetic and easily excited boy facinated by Death magic and the undead. He is devoted to the preservation of the death rituals of all creatures and races. he seems to be a very intelligent student and an expert problem solver, who has a knack for making friends.

and that's how I see Billy.

Well, that's one of the cultural quirks I was talking about: the Mr. and Miss thing. It's probably never going to come up in the RP so I don't mind talking about it. Billy is respectful and polite, sure, that's just how he is. But the thing where he never refers to anyone by their first name is a cultural thing. In the Millennial Kingdom, age is important. Very important. Grandfather is the oldest thing in the kingdom, and the ground the lich walks on is worshiped. The older something is, the more it is assumed to be worth and respected.

To refer to someone older than yourself, even by a second, in a casual manner without their express permission is not only a social misstep, but a grievous insult. To the point where, even if two people hate one another and get into screaming matches in the street, the younger of the two will still refer to the elder in a formal manner. To not do so is basically a declaration of a blood feud.

Getting back to Billy, he doesn't know how old any of you are especially considering your all from different dimensions. So he is formal with all of you, just to be on the safe side.

Hmmmm, well Asoka's age will be revealed to the other characters by a Happy Birthday scroll with a cake at some pint in the future. And just for amusement, it will appear at a horrible time for Asoka.

Mr. Zaubar. Since you introduced yourself like that he assumes either it's your last name, or you don't have a last name.

Also, I've never really been able to picture what Zaubar looks like. The way I always see him could be best described as "Purple space elf." Not sure why, probably has to do with the name and what you told me about becoming an energy being.

On that note, in my head Asoka is Asian and has long black hair she ties up with ribbons, and Ashgrove wears a lot of blue, is tall and lanky, and has black hair that's naturally slicked back. I have no idea how accurate any of this is.

Um, I would say close to Death the Kid from Soul Eater. Minus the white in the hair.

You got the length right, but his hair is curly and blonde. He wears a knee length black cloak tied on with a big purple bow.

You actually got spot on on how I imagine Asoka. She also is flat and has a high, pointed nose. She is not fully Asian just like all other citizens of the Draconic Empire, all of them are part of multiple ethnicities and thus none.
