I was talking about the pineapple link at the time.

Also you know what's disappointing and funny at the same time. If clever bot actually is a compilation of human responses cataloged into a large database it's basically a homunculus which represents the nature of civilized man. Remember that, and then suffer through a four minute conversation.

Its not that though...its basically like any other chat room except your partner changes every few responses and without warning.

Except they're in the past. So, it's like some strange, extratemportal, Frankensteinian homunculus conglomeration of responses from every user it has encountered.

Almost like a pseudosentient, artificially-intelligent cybernetic Akasha.

Oh. Em. Gee.

That just gave me an idea for a super-dee-duper scary horror story.

OBEY OR BE ASSIMILATED!

No, right at the moment I wrote that comment.

Actually more like...

"So...you're saying that, after all these millenia of collecting our thoughts, our skills, our experiences, our memories, it's--"

"Correct. The Akasha has gained consciousness. And after assessing our numerous flawed concepts of life and the universe, it seems to have come to the conclusion that it matches the definition of a god. It seems as though...it plans to judge us."

*sigh*

When I was thinking of an adequate way to describe the Cleverbot artificial intelligence matrix, the description I thought of gave me an idea for a horror story.

...actually with the way cleverbot is going, the odds are if something ever did end up amassing all of the human experience it would just end up as a rude idiot with a taste for funny cat videos.

This one seems much more awesome.

Does that mean you like the idea?

A giant holy database system bent on gaining data on existence sudenly gaining sentience and deciding to judge humanity after convincing itself that it is a god? Sounds like a blockbuster in the making.

Good, good. Now, if I could just get Stephen Spielberg, George Lucas, James Cameron and (maybe?) Michael Bay to collaborate with me on it.

Do you want this thing to have some controll over reality, or just have controll over the words militaries?

Reality. But only limited. Obviously, tapping into the mortal coil to manipulate reality would take a lot of strain for something only just gaining some semblance of cognition.

Micheal Bay would have it end with the entire thing exploding.

I doubt that would end well.
