How many other folks have seen the Book 3 season finale? (Or are still keeping up with Legend of Korra, at all?)

Well, if that's all you've got in mind. Like, nobody has any theories about what will happen? Parts they liked, didn't like? I guess I should leave that to Wikia, huh? Deeper elaboration as to one's thoughts and feelings doesn't seem to spark anybody's interest here.

We know metal bending is possible because benders can control the minute particles of earth in the refined metal.

By that same principle, wouldn't Glass Bending also be possible? We've already seen that bending sand is possible, so shouldn't people be able to bend the particles of silicate in glass?

Glass Bending, because lava bending wasn't already terrifying enough.

I think so. I don't see why a master Earthbender like Toph or King Bumi couldn't cause the sand to phase-shift into a coalesced glass state, to bend glass into different constructs and launch attacks with it. Makes sense to me, and to be totally honest, I'm shocked it hasn't shown up as an art by now.

Along with the writers outright addressing Plantbending. And I don't mean that thing where Waterbenders make the vines move. I mean, actually full-out Poison Ivy action.

Turns out The Legend of Korra is coming back to TV this Friday. Not sure what that means...maybe a full marathon, or maybe the first of numerous individual episodes in order...either way, it shouldn't mess with the debut of the new episode premiering online or on TV. We should still get a new episode this Friday.

If not, I may be angry enough to flip a table Korra-style.

I have left this thread SEVERELY unattended, but has anybody here been keeping up with Avatar: The Last Airbender comics? What do you think of the latest additions? North & South is a really great addition, and a very interesting bridge to the Legend of Korra series. Sort of a weird meta thing, with a push-pull between the older generation and the newer. And, of course, some great bending feats.
