.....Imagine a large fleet of winged fire breathing reptiles colliding with a cloud of bats in midair, some of the bats are eaten or ripped apart on contact, but several others turn into pointy eared fanged humans that draw swords and start impaling the dragons in the back and holding onto them by their sword wounds as the dragons buck and fight in mid air.

How about one where our current world is merged with an alternate universe that's exactly the opposite of this one? Our planets merge and so do all objects. This change is intangible and invisible for the most part. The only things that don't merge are living things (including us and our alternate-universe counterparts, who are the exact opposite of us; personality, powers, etc.).

And here's the kicker. Due to the new phase of the planet, its stability has been altered. Not its PHYSICAL stability. Its DIMENSIONAL stability. If one counterpart is not deleted soon, then BOTH will be randomly blinked from existence.

Naturally, all heck breaks loose when the news leaks, and people are desperately trying to kill their alternate universe doppelgangers, and those of their loved ones and friends.

Hm...never seen it. Hehe, I guess great minds think alike.

And if nobody wants THAT one, how about one where that supercollider experiment goes TERRIBLY wrong? Instead of hoping to reproduce some kind of primal energy, it produces a worldwide teleportation effect and jaunts everyone on the planet to random places throughout the Cosmos.

Naturally, some go to distant planets. Some to asteroids. Some to the depths of space. And some worse.

Not everyone survives, but those who do are trying to figure out how the heck they can get back home, using the new superpowers the blast effect gifts them with.
