The ships guns make short work of the outside defenses and soon the team is entering the mansion. As they enter into the main lobby they come across a strange sight.
In the lobby is a casket containing a figure that is familiar to a few members of the team. Some are shocked as they see their dead teammate from the zombie invasion. Before they are able to understand the situation a clapping sound in the room draws everyone's attention.
"So the specimens have finally arrived, You have made quite a mess of my operations. I see you have an interest in that corpse there. His body was very useful in developing genetic mutations, such as the creature you met outside."
"I'll kill you!" my character yelled, and launched himself of the floor towards were the captain was standing on the stairs.
The captain didn't even blink but raised a hand covered in tentacles and my character stopped in midair and was thrown down to the floor sending a shock wave out.
(That's right. My Zerg character died and his mutation powers were used to start the organization. The captain now has the full power of the Zerg. He is stronger than the Phiclone or the creature we just faced outside and he has the ultimate power of the Zerg, the ability of telekinesis and to generate forcefields.)
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
