Yeah, but you forgot one thing, the poke ball system works on a global computer network whcih only exists on the pokemon world, otherwise they don't work, it happened in an episode once where some person blocked it I think, either that or it was a movie, probably a movie.

Look it up, it's the pokemon god of space spawned from Arceus who was the creater of the universe apparently so yeah their the acquivalent of polytheistic gods for crying out loud.
