Apocalypse RP #1: Zombie Attack.

The zombie invasion slowly made it through each floor of the hotel, it seemed no barricade we made could stop them. I feared i made the wrong decision to hold out in the hotel because now we only had one way to go, further up the hotel. I left zerglings on each floor to guard the barricades as the humans escaped but the zombies simply outnumbered them causing them to be ineffective in stopping the oncoming hoard.

We lost several people from our group when one of our people was bitten while putting the barricade down. And we lost another when a man lost his mind and fed himself to the zombies expecting to gain powers.

I began experimenting with creating a new creature that would be more durable so that it could last longer against the zombies but so far i was unable to make the creature take form.

It seemed that all the zombies within the city were now focused on our hotel. In a last ditch effort we created a bonfire on top of the hotel hoping to attract attention of help from nearby or even off the nearby coast.

(I've decided that I'll start off the East Coast of Australia)

I'm in my house, playing Minecraft. I look out the window and see zombies marching down the street, and I start packing my stuff. When they reach the house, I try and do everything I can to stop them, I shoot them with my bow and arrow, I cut/stab them, etc.. I see my brother get bitten, but he doesn't get turned. I watch him beat away the zombies and start running. I keep trying to hold them off, but I get overrun. I think it's the end, but when they bite me, I don't get turned. I manage to decapitate the few in my immediate vicinity, and run to my room. I lock the door, but I know they'll break it down. I feel..........odd. Tingly, even, and..........I know how to............build............objects. Objects with special powers. I quickly start constructing one of said objects, and finish just in time. When the zombies came in, they sure weren't expecting a mini-turret with an unlimited amount of missiles. When the smoke cleared, I gathered what I could, packed up the mini-turret, and made some seven-league boots. I bounded after my brother, and, looking through some special binoculars, I saw him running. He had gotten far, and I knew I couldn't catch up to him at my current speed, especially with him speeding up. Luckily, I had some other items. He looked very surprised to see his younger brother driving a vehicle resembling a missile with handles. We kept going, fighting zombies as we went, and told each-other about our newfound abilities.

here's my opinion, limit the power of twelve elements, or turn it into elemental Iris, if any of you get to have a power that powerful, or a second power, I get twenty pounds or less item manifestation in addition to aura injection.

We had guns and a solid group now.

We had to limit it to a few since a large group without a specific plan is just asking for internal struggle and panic.

We decided the best way to deal with the zombies is to be constantly mobile staying only when necessary.

After capping a few zombies, I was disgusted but I knew someone had to do it.

I developed a liking towards my gun, that is until I learned that I can also fire missiles from the Door using a remote switchboard which I attached to my arm.

We switched from close range fighters to long range soon after that.

The zombies seem attracted to sound so we armed ourselves with poppers for use as distractions.

We were able to save some people and handed them some weapons to defend against future attack but that only delayed the zombies.

We made our own pirate channel to look for survivors and to find enough people to coordinate a major offensive.

WHD and jester no more extra powers. While I agree that twelve elements should be limited to a few at a time and that the more powerful ones should be used less you have a good ability too. You said you dident want to be tied down and what you lack in immediate power you gain in the flexibility of having advanced progression to train, ability imbuing to make a base, and some other power another day. Jester with all due respect with that power and aura injection you could be invincible. Marvelous Miscreant that should be fine as a power choice. Also from this point on how about we put the out of character stuff in the zombie invasion thread please so as to not take up space in this one.

I don't think he meant actually having more than one superpower. He just meant a flexible power. Like me with Quantakinesis, or how MM wanted to be able to assume a stone form and manipulate stone to distinguish himself from Bug.

But...uh, yeah, 12 elements all at once IS a bit much to have right away. Just like I can't divide people by zero, or multiply myself by infinity, or divide people, or become the size of the Empire State Building.

We see a fire in the distance. Not only is it a fire, but it is a bonfire.

Realizing that the survivors may have one or more superhumans in their ranks, I redirect the zepplin towards the fire.

This was, of course, after I repaired a large hole in the side of the zepplin (some superpowered maniac crashed into it with a superpowered bike).

I found someone else with a superpower today. A man named Victor Martin was bitten as he went to try and stop the zombies from breaking through one of our last barriers. As he was a wall of light shot in front of him that cut the zombies in its path and blocked any more zombies from coming up that direction.

We were safe for the moment as we fortified the only other entrance to the floor. We wouldn't be safe forever so we came up with a risky plan. Victor would create a light bridge to the next roof over, but this would require him to remove his wall blocking the zombies and for us to walk over thousands of zombies on his unstable creation. But we didn't have a choice.

We knocked out a window and i positioned the rest of my forces to buy us time as we sprinted across. As we made the dash across i could of sworn i saw a zeppelin flying towards us but i didnt have the chance to double check. When the last of us had made it across the bridge vanished and the zombies fell to their deaths. Below the hoards scrambled to follow us to the new building.

Off in the distance I notice a person walking towards my location, wielding a katana and metal shield. They look angry...really angry. I put my hands above my head (to show that i'm unarmed) and walk out towards them in an attempt to talk peacfully with them....

....but in case it turns out ugly and the person is an enemy, I get ready to use my powers.

[Wish]

Today there was a giant zombie.

This is really getting to my willing suspension of disbelief.

I frantically struggle to find its head to annihilate it with missiles.

It smashed our Apache copter.

Quickly here said an old man.

I go to where he is and suddenly a barrier goes up shielding us from the behemoth's blows.

Soon the zombie tired and started going away to seek prey elsewhere.

Today I met another person one with a barrier.

I'm not the only one with powers now.

I was in a boat that my brother had constructed when we saw a huge ball of fire go up in the air. What was that I said aloud. I knew that no regular human could have done that in these circumstances, there must be others with powers. Me and my brother went off to see what was happening.

[Myself]

"What the........?"

I saw a structure if light between two buildings below. People ran across, followed by a horde of zombies. When the people were across, the bridge disappeared and the hordes fell to their re-deaths. Knowing that superhumans were in that area, I moved the zepplin towards the source of intense light.

Earlier though, I had given the zepplin the power to be larger on the inside than on the outside, for convenience and comfort.

"Mother of crap. Bird zombies? How the heck did they zombify the birds? Oh, well, I guess it can happen to ANY species that can contract human diseases. That means...um...a LOT of species could be zombified..."

I look out of the zeppelin, hoping we'll land soon, because the longer we're up this high, the more likely we are to get bird-zombified.

I release a teleporter with a parachute, so that any superhumans can access the network and find us.

Meanwhile, I ask the twins to blow the zepplin away from land, to reduce the chance of finding a flock of zombified birds.

We should be safe, being under a balloon and in an enclosed space underneath, but I won't take any chances.
