Re: 1 vs 1 Battle Arena

Gentleman Vaultboy
Snow drags herself up to her feet once again, numb to everything.

One of the benefits of her power: numbing herself. Feeling literally nothing. Normally she wouldn't risk it because it was the stupidest thing in the world to do in a fight. Pain told you where your body was damaged. Pain warned you when something couldn't move. Pain kept you from really hurting yourself.

Then again, nothing mattered here and she was hurting really bad.

Snow scrambled over the top of his barricade/cage, using the fallen trunk of the tree as a bridge and leaping down opposite the penguin. She sprinted forward, something she would never be able to do if she still had feeling in her anything, and brought the heavy claw down at him.

(Have you guessed how many bodies he has yet?)

Damian turned and breathed out what remained breath he could muster. The artillery blast against the ice wall pushes back equally against Damian's body, a move he would normally be unwilling to take while his body was so damaged, but since he was no longer going to be in this body it made little difference.

The penguin flies back at the blast, through the hole in the ice wall and past the girl climbing in. Damian's wounds had reopened from the force and violet blood was now coiling around his body.

She turned to look as the little thing flew past, up and out  of the dome.

That was no fair at all, they weren't supposed to be able to do that.

She jumped up on the tree top and tried to climb through the hole. But the claw was immobile and slippery, and couldn't get a grip. She couldn't pull herself up the her other hand, because the claw was to heavy.

She sighed, and took a deep breath. Steam rose from out of the hole as she tried to construct a stepping stone, or a ramp.

(7 is a good number, right?)

(Close, its Nine, its based off a property they all have.)

The violet blood finishes wrapping around Damian's body as he lands, handing as silk garb on his humanoid body. This new body was dressed as a clown, the silk covering every section of his body with a mask hiding it face. Damian holds his arm out and petals sprout from his hand and hover over his palm.

Stalking forward, Damian plots how to catch his prey. Even if what they did in this match held no lasting effect, it was only fair if he warned her before he let this body's mind fight her.

Maybe he would get off one surprise shot first though.....Damian thinks as the body's mind already starts its influence. The petals over his palm wrap together tightly until a violet throwing dagger rests in his hands.

Step in place, she hauled herself up and over the edge.

She see's not a penguin, but a creepy clown. She looks around behind him, then up into the trees, then behind her. "Oh come on!" she shouts to the trees. "That was two, I know that was two!"

The forest offers know response.

"If you're there, then this is passive aggressive even for you."

The violet dagger whizzes past the girl's head as she calls out into the forest.

"I hope I've got your attention again" Damian says. "I think we've had a pretty respectable fight so far and I just wanted to warn you that this is the body that I have the least control over. So if I Slice you up or Decapitate you, don't take it personally. Oh, and invite your friend to come Play as well, it will be fun."

More petals sprout from Damian's palms and hover around him. Each petal seems to be a combination of three parts. Blood, organic petals, and violet energy.

Snows blood ran cold. I mean, it always ran cold but, well, you know.

She let herself drop back into the ice dome. She had not signed up for this. She had signed Maria up for this, she should be the one doing this crap.

She laid her good hand on the ice wall and puce her aura into it. The hole the penguin for had blows in the roof began to steam at the edges, then quickly seal up.

More blossoms sprout from Damian's palms and join with the others in surging towards the icy dome. A portion of the petals are able to slip in through the crack before it closes completely and hover over the girl's head.

Outside, Damian moves his fingers like he is playing with puppet strings just for dramatic effect. Inside, the blossoms that managed to slip inside, coil together into daggers.

"AHHHH!"

Snow sucks in a breath and fires it over the daggers, letting the mist drop down over them. They freeze over completely, then keep freezing until they're chunks of ice.

Damian frowns under his mask. There went his chance to attack her directly. The petals around the dome return to him and begin to coil together. A scythe-like handle forms in his grip and a large war axe head joins to its top. Damian moves till the dome is at the edge of his range and swings, letting the weapon scrape off the top edge of the dome. The clown twirls, bringing the axe around for a second strike.

The Girl kicks at the little ice balls lying on the floor, wary about them still being able to move. That's when she hears the axe slam down on the dome, sending a crack through it.

"Hey, stop that." She says, laying her hand back on the dome. She shoves her aura into a single point, forcing the issue to make it happen faster.

A stalactite begins forming on the ice, growing quickly like a thrusting spear toward the clown form.

Damian pulls the axe swing in closer, digging it into the ground and using it to vault over the growing spike. He lands lightly on the ice and quickly flips to the side before she can cause it to grow towards him. The axe swings again, digging into the ice dome before he lands again.

More cracks form around as the shadow outline of Damien flies over the dome. On the other side, another impact sounds and more fractures appear. She almost flings herself into the opposite wall, pressing herself against it and spreading her aura out through it.

"Step off!"

The opposite wall does it's best impression of a porcupine.

Damian digs his weapon into the wall as it begins to expand out and lifts his legs. The expanding ice pushes the axe and Damian rides it back, just on the edge of the spikes. With a twist, Damian breaks the handle out of the ice as he lands and recoils the petals into a lance. The lance flies through the air and impales itself on top of the dome. Inside, the tip of the lance uncoils and petals surge towards the ground.

This was getting out of hand. Snow slid down to the ground, leaning her back against the ice wall.

She sent her Aura flowing out into the interior of the dome, filling it as one would fill a vase with water. Steam filled it as the cold intensifies, mixing with the warm air.

Everything began to freeze.

As the girl freezes the attack from within, a shadow grows larger behind her on the ice wall. Damian strikes at the girl's form again from the outside, this time with a coiled petal blade, as the girl deals with his distraction within. A large cloud of petals hovers around him as he does.

Re: 1 vs 1 Battle Arena

The blade shatters through the weakened Ice. It's only the layer of ice snow had developed on her own body that saved her as it drilled partway into her back.

It's not something she feels. She doesn't feel much of anything right now. It's almost as though shes asleep, dormant.

A sharp crack sounds from the forest. A fist sized rock, moving at approximately terminal velocity, comes spinning out of the forest at Damien.

The stone scrapes across Damian's shoulders and neck, sending him tumbling away from the ice dome. The petals in the air condense themselves over the direction the stone came from, but other than that, Damian makes no move to defend himself as he becomes reorientated.

The back of his clothes are ripped, revealing wooden skin beneath the violet robes. A clear, blood-like substance seems to be running down from the base of his head.

The petals coil and let the rock bounce off them, away from Damian.

Damian rises up, tenderly feeling the wound on his back and wondering if it would be worth it to drain away the wound to one of his other bodies. He moves to the side, leaving petals behind for his defense, until the ice dome is between him and his attacker. He backs away though, aware that the ice girl could attack again at any moment.
